This application will have table of listed bands that you can search by name, genre, and concert venue, so that you can keep up with their latest gigs

Urge Radio is dedicated to the underground rock and roll scene. After searching the web for a station to fill this need, Shawn decided to build his own station. You will not hear any mainstream rock on URGE. Shawn has built the station to operate like a traditional terrestrial radio station, but eventually offer new technology to help promote the bands, maximize the entertainment value, and increase listener participation. Even in its infancy URGE will play 24/7.

As time goes, more features will be added. Eventually, URGE will be fully live, in that there will always be some DJ presence spinning the tracks that make this music scene special to us all. Urge will primarily play the music of the Greater Puget Sound, Washington. However, we welcome and accept music submission from anywhere. We can be heard by anyone with a computer, but we will be catering the show to our local area. In time, URGE will expand its stations to cover other areas, but that will not affect the local feel. There will be an URGE in every market willing to stick up the long finger in the name of ROCK!!!

As a former Rock Show Host, concert organizer, concert promoter, and fan of rock, Shawn is offering a new option for bands to promote themselves, earn money from shows, and engage a bigger audience.
